Rental Accomodation Adelaide...

Well, I guess the time has come for accomodation hunting. As I was forced to sit in front of this screen, I might do some benefits with accomodation hunting.
There are few tips when you want to have a look.

What I learned from my own experienced.
1.It is not an easy job to find a rental properties here. You surely have to compete with lots others especially with the cheaper rent. Lots mean more than 30 people will come and view the properties.
2.Never ever be late for inspection.
3.Contact the agent beforehand so that you wont miss open inspection. Do follow up.
4.Get your paper ready: documents such as ID, proof of income, previous bills, references...so that you can submit the form immediately if you really interested. Bring pen.
5.Built rapport with the agent, although they are not supposed to be bias, but in reality, good impression counts.
6.For my unit, we even have to offer aud20 extra per week to the owner to win the contract. My other friend offers for her unit to pay three months in advance.
7.I will say that renting a competetive accomodation is like going to job interview. Sell yourself that you are capable of being a good tenant.

Make Your Own Wipes and Wipe Solution

Today I'm becoming more environmental friendly by making my own baby wipes and wipes solution. From google, I learned that most of them suggest making the wipes with receiving blankets to save budget or just grab a flannel that on sale at store. I dont know what is receiving blankets (I dont take home any blanket from hospital). I also not sure which one is flannel. So to conclude, I just use a terry clothes nappy that I cut into small sizes (my desirable size). I bought three dozen of it for my first baby. I got 16 wipes from a piece of terry cloth nappy which is great enough. I prefer to have smaller size so that I dont stain my cute baby bump like I used to do when wiping with disposable wipes.
Why I choose to use cloth wipes? Obviously the disposable one is fairly expensive. For AUD10 per months, I can save for other important stuff. I cant use cheaper brands because both my babies born with sensitive bump. They want the Johnson and Johnson, Curash or Huggies. Apart from that, as Malaysian, I prefer to wash their bump instead of wipes them. I started to wash the first one when he was nine months old after a very bad nappy rash from diarrhea. (He got the bug from other baby). But now, as the winter is coming, I need to get prepared. Surely it will be cold for the little one.
Anyway, my first experienced with cloth wipes is great. It is smoother, softer and I can feel that it is more clean that the disposable one because I can wipes him without worrying the material will irritate his skin.
I mix my wipes solution from 1/4 cup of olive oil, 1/8 cup baby wash Curash, few drops of essential oils (peppermint oil), and 4 cups of cool boil water. His bump smells of peppermint now.
There a few other recipes that we can use to make wipes solution. Basically the solution consists of
1.Oil (for smooth baby skin and helps the wipe to glide over the skin),
2.Soap (To clean)
3.Essential oils (Antibacterial and aromatherapy)
4.Water (Cleaning and diluting agent)

For more wipes solution recipe, you can get it from this link "Wipe Solution"

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after reviewing your application, we're unable to accept you into AdSense at this time.

Issues:

English Only...

Well I have to write in English until google ads approve my blog. Initially I dont want to post this blog on Facebook because almost everyone I know was there. With my bad grammar, this is embarassing. But looking at the stat, I dont think anyone will ever visit this blog. So I 'tebalkan' my face and post it. Sound pathetic but I did enjoy looking at the stats now. =)..Well, I'm married, so I dont have to control cun anymore. =)..
Apart from that, most of the content will be my private life and about my babies that will only bored the readers. The reality is that my life is surrounded by these cute little creatures.
However, I will put some contents that 'membina' such as product review, recipes, cheap and sales items and so on. Any new info that I love to share with others...well sharing is caring. I have to much to talk, that is why I need blog. Otherwise, people around me will have to hear me babbling all day about my babies as if I am the only mother in this world.

My kenit's modern cloth diaper

The first row is from China, the second row is from Australia ( Cuddlebots). The bottom most is the inserts; From left, microfibre, bamboo, microfibre.

These were bought last year on April. As usual, I will be fairly active on ebay during uni break. I am new to cloth diaper at that time. My preference were the cloth diaper with bamboo insert and made in Australia. However, I end up buying only two with bamboo insert, the other eleven with microfibre inserts. All were advertised as made in Australia but when they arrived, only the bamboo's are made in Australia. To my less expectation, I am more satisfied with the sunny baby cloth diaper from China. They seems to last longer (similar like disposable nappies) without leaking. My first son can wear it up to 10 hours. I experiment all of them to ensure no leaking day/overnight and to estimate their endurance. The sunny baby also fits my son well. I could not notice any difference between bamboo and microfibre in term of absorbancy.

Super Cute Cloth Diaper

Today, my precious first son wake me up at 3 am, actually I had not sleep yet. Usually he will sleep again after feeding but I was soo thirsty that I went to get some water first and there he is. Fully awake and demand Mr Bean animated series. He was totally addicted with that series (more stories about this later).

So I end up surfing the net, looking for ebay item as usual and stumble into this cool modern cloth diaper by ganesa forge. The nappies was on ebay auction. I googled genesa forge and I was so amused with how cute and creative the design. Check out some of the design below.

Cute right!

They had this embroidery machine that make cute nappy design more cuter. Not to forget, you can choose your own embroidery design. They also sell washable breast pad, menstrual pad, wipes and lunette cups. In case that you are the same like me never heard of Lunette cups, it is a "sanitary and healthy alternative to disposable tampons and sanitary napkins". They also post internationally, so grab a bargain people outside Australia for this super cute nappies. The price varies with design but it is a very good investment for your babies and super cute too. Most of it cheaper that BumGenius but of course more expensive than the one from China considering the material and the workmanship is in Australia.
